A Wife Worth Loving (Ephesians 5:22-24)

I. God's Design for Submission—Eph 5:22 (Cf. Col 3:18, 1 Peter 3:1, Gen. 3:16, 1 Cor. 14:34).
Summary: Wives everywhere are commanded to be subject to their husbands in everything, as the church is to Christ. The motivation is reverence to the Lord (v22). The structure is that the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ is the head of the church (v23). Submission extends to all spheres (v24).
