• Things to soon take place (4-22)

Overview of Revelation through chapter 8, verse 5

• Chapter 1: Christ is sovereignly present and ties into the great Commission in Matthew 28
• Chapters 2-3: The Church will overcome
• Chapters 4-5: The sovereignty of God in creation and redemption
• Chapters 6-8: The seven seals reveal the judgment about to take place against Jerusalem

Two Cities, Two Comings

• Jerusalem of the Triumphal Entry
• Jerusalem of the Conquering Judgment

What we must do
We must recognize Jesus as our King
We must prepare ourselves for the coming judgment
We must remember that Jesus has already won the victory
